Ajay Mittal is a seasoned higher education professional with over 15 years of experience in
academic administration, strategic planning, policy development, stakeholder engagement, and
institutional excellence. He has held leadership roles at esteemed institutions such as Narsee
Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Indian School of Business (ISB), and Great
Lakes Institute of Management (GLIM), where he has driven digital transformation and fostered
learner-centric environments. Known for his strategic vision and collaborative approach, he has
successfully led teams, executed complex academic projects, and mentored students to achieve
academic success.
In his current role at Ashoka University, Ajay spearheads academic administration for
undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes. He collaborates with academic
