Aman Kapadia

Aman Kapadia is the managing partner and portfolio manager at Akaris Global, a concentrated equity and credit focused hedge fund. Prior to founding Akaris Global, Aman served as partner and senior managing director at Fir Tree Partners, an $8 billion investment firm formed in 1994 to apply the best practices of a private equity approach to opportunistic value investing. Before Fir Tree Partners, Aman was an analyst at Rockbay Capital, Severn River Capital, Sagamore Hill, and McKinsey & Co.

Aman holds a JD and an MBA from Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in public and international affairs, magna cum laude, from Princeton University, where he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.
