Ph.D. National University of SingaporeAmit Julka completed his PhD from the Department of Political Science, National University of Singapore. His research lies at the intersection of International Relations, popular culture, and South Asian politics. In his doctoral research, he conceptualized and operationalized Antonio Gramsci’s idea of mass common-sense as an analytical lens to understand the influence of mass ideas on India’s foreign policy. He is also a coordinator for the Making Identity Count project.
