Aradhita Baral

Dr. Aradhita Baral is the Deputy Director at Koita Centre for Digital Health at Ashoka University, where she oversees research management and administration. With a focus on advancing education, research, capacity, and engagement in India and abroad, she plays a key role in fostering collaborations across academia, industry, clinicians, and the public sector.

She brings extensive experience across public, private, and non-profit sectors, both in the national and international arena. She facilitates collaborative research initiatives, supports the establishment of new research programs, and manages budget allocations for research activities. She works closely with the faculty, assisting in strategic planning and providing solutions to research and administrative needs.

A trained scientist, Dr. Aradhita began her career at CSIR-Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology (CSIR-IGIB) before transitioning into research management. Her dedication to strengthening research support structures led her to the Department of Biotechnology, India, where she contributed to national-level research initiatives. She was the first awardee of the DBT/Wellcome Trust India Alliance Research Management Fellowship (IRMI) in India at CSIR-IGIB.
