Arnaz Shaik

An Army officer’s daughter adjusting to a new corner of India every two years, Arnaz loves being around people and listening to their stories. Introducing herself as a Muslim girl from Hyderabad usually instigates a lot of misconceptions, ironical to the empowered young woman her parents have brought her up to be. Her journey at University of Delhi, transformed her into a stronger and opinionated young woman. From teaching young girls on Sundays to becoming a published poet, college gave her the chance to carve her own path towards her aspirations. Arnaz loves to express herself through her poetry and really enjoys travelling and learning about different cultures. She dreams of working at the UN someday and making her country proud, just like her father.
