Inspired by social good, Arti Manmode, from Wardha, Maharashtra, has overcome the challenges of visual impairment and losing her parents at a young age. Excelling academically (ranking first in the Maharashtra board exams), she graduated with a degree in Political Science from Fergusson College, Pune. She has an interest in chess and music. Arti is passionate about inclusivity and sustainability, demonstrated by her work with Saathi NGO, Slum Soccer, and her ongoing project, SARTHI Vision, which empowers visually impaired people through accessibility. Arti seeks the YIF for its interdisciplinary learning, leadership development, and networking opportunities to further her aspiration of becoming a civil servant dedicated to promoting inclusivity and sustainable development.
