Driven by a strong aversion to apathy, Damneet has chosen to pursue a career in the social impact sector. Her goal is to actively engage in mitigating the hardships faced by the marginalised. Propelled by her perpetual curiosity and love for written words, she has become an avid reader. Damneet eagerly awaits the day when she’ll be able to play a musical instrument, pen a novel, and undertake a project that positively impacts people’s lives. She can be usually found nestled in a cosy corner, savouring a cup of chai while absorbed in a good book. Through the YIF, she hopes to explore herself and advance her career in the socio-economic development sector. She’s also excited about the YIF’s multidisciplinary lens and a chance to involve herself in real-world projects.
