Janvi Sunil Kothari

Janvi has been waiting for her Hogwarts letter since she was 11. After an excruciating wait, she decided to apply for the Young India Fellowship (YIF), the next best course for weaving magic! Apart from Harry Potter, she loves dogs, Mumbai, stock markets and food. She has an inquisitive mind and many questions. She believes that the only place to house those questions and probably answer half of them would be Ashoka. After spending 22 years in Mumbai, she romanticises the city and will always be up for a Bombay vs Delhi argument. Following her father’s steps, she began pursuing CA, thinking it was her calling but soon realised that it wasn’t. She worked for two short internships as an Equity Research Analyst and has also been trained for equity long-term investments in stocks. She has completed French language with B1 (Business level) from Alliance Francaise de Bombay. Soon after, she got the opportunity to participate in a Cultural Exchange Programme to France for 21 days, which turned out to be surreal. After discovering Finance and French, she was content but not purely satisfied. She is here at YIF to explore like she has always been, only this time hoping to find her true passion and dive into it.
