Katyayani casually walks by, keenly observing and silently taking mind notes for her inevitable internal monologues. Bad at small talk, she prefers long, insightful conversations around fiction, films and life over cups of masala chai. Nostalgia, peace and solitude all draw her back to Banaras, her hometown. Absurdism, reasoning, gender and cultural studies excite her like none other. She’ll never say never to a round of chess as late as three at night. At YIF, she craves to learn more, unlearn even more and extend her ohana.
