Khushi Pahuja

Khushi is passionate about bringing change and working on ground. She has been working on education and women empowerment since the age of 17. This journey involves teaching children from underserved communities, working for women and children in a red light area, contributing towards eradicating manual scavenging and creating awareness on gender issues. Her zeal to work for people, learn, grow and critically analyse things encouraged her to choose Young India Fellowship.

Her sensitivity and listening skills are her biggest strengths, which make her notice, observe and feel minute details. A strange fact about her is that people call her a “healer”. Khushi loves to write and is an admirer of art, nature and humans. Her eyes shine bright when she engages in conversation around gender and mental health issues. Fun facts about her include making funny faces and laughing and crying for no reason.
