Meghnad Mitra

With over 37 years of expertise across industries such as FMCG, agribusiness, and manufacturing, Meghnad’s career exemplifies strategic impact and transformation. Most recently, Meghnad served as the CFO of Mahindra Agri Solutions, where he spearheaded financial strategies across multiple business verticals, driving key transformations and securing vital funding for growth initiatives. Prior to this, as Group CFO and later Whole-time Director at Mother Dairy, he redefined the company’s growth trajectory through agile strategies that expanded its footprint and boosted revenues. During his 15-year tenure with PepsiCo India, Meghnad held several senior finance roles, including CFO of Beverages for South Asia, overseeing a $1.2 billion business. His leadership and innovative contributions to PepsiCo’s transformation efforts earned him multiple Global CFO Awards.

A Chartered Accountant (ICAI) and graduate of St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, he has further honed his expertise through executive programs, including “CFO as Strategic Partner” at Wharton and the Mahindra Universe Program at Harvard. A Six Sigma Green Belt, Meghnad has led numerous projects focused on cost savings and operational efficiency, while consistently championing productivity and talent development.

Beyond his professional achievements, Meghnad is recognized for his mentorship and commitment to nurturing future leaders. He has fostered a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence in financial management across his teams. Among his many personal interests, Meghnad loves travelling to wildlife sanctuaries, photography, sports and movie watching. He is an avid reader and plans to invest part of his time in the social sector in future.
