Moumita began her PhD journey at Ashoka University in August 2024. She completed her undergraduate studies at Asutosh College, under Calcutta University, and pursued her postgraduate degree at Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, specializing in Astrophysics. Passionate about unraveling the mysteries of the cosmos, she is deeply interested in studying the properties of dark matter and the complex processes influencing the evolution of the universe. Her research also encompasses high-energy astrophysics, underscoring her dedication to understanding the fundamental forces that govern cosmic phenomena.
Beyond her academic pursuits, she has a profound love for Bengali literature, which connects her to her cultural roots while broadening her creative imagination. Moumita also enjoys traveling, finding inspiration in discovering new places and perspectives.
