Ph.D. NIMHANS BangaloreDr.Naseer Bhat is a passionate mental health researcher and clinical psychologist with an interest in adolescent development and developmental psychopathology. His research interests include understanding the development and correlates of adolescent risk-taking behaviors, synthesizing evidence in key areas of mental health and adolescent development, and advancing health psychology and intervention research. Dr. Bhat is also skilled in the development and validation of psychological questionnaires, contributing to methodological rigor in psychological research.
Dr. Bhat teaches courses on adolescent development and psychopathology, clinical psychology, and research methods and statistical techniques in psychological research. Through his teaching, he aims to inspire and equip students with critical knowledge and skills to address mental health issues and contribute to the evolving field of psychology. Dr. Bhat’s work seeks to bridge the gap between research and practice, with a commitment to improving mental health outcomes for adolescents and broader communities.
