Nivvedhitha Shankar

YIF Class of 2025

BCom (Honours), Jesus and Mary College, New Delhi

A connoisseur of obscure playlists, Nivvedhitha and her college’s farewell committee mutually agree that she is best described by Lenka’s song, “Everything at Once”. Similar to her career stints across impact investment, incubation, e-mobility and children’s writing, Nivvedhitha’s life has taken her across cities in India and abroad. This has deeply influenced the direction of her neurodivergent special interest in languages, cultures, and the nuances of assimilation. If she’s not analysing e-mobility statistics and urban mobility policies, she is typically found practising or trying new riffs, scouring Goodreads or trying to connect Cantonese and Korean etymology while binge-watching dramas. The YIF offers Nivvedhitha the education she has dreamt of since her childhood, and she is delighted to explore her interests in climate, mental health, neurodivergence, literature, and anthropology.
