Director, Brand and Communication, Ashoka University
Priyanka has studied Liberal Arts from Soka University of America. She comes with over fifteen years of experience in communications, digital strategy, marketing, branding, digital storytelling, social media, digital property and asset building and management, and has led several impactful, award-winning campaigns. Before joining Ashoka, she was with the Centre for Policy Research (CPR), consulting on Communications, Digital and Social Media Strategy. She was responsible for revamping their digital and integrated communication across the board including website, podcast, newsletter, social media and their flagship event “Dialogues 2022”.
Priyanka has a passion for words and stories and has extensive experience setting up digital communications and processes for publishing and media brands. Before CPR, she worked with Penguin Random House for nine years and had a brief stint with CNBC Network18; as well as consulting experience with several top authors and publishers including Harvard University Press, Serai Residency and A Suitable Agency.
Apart from her professional pursuits, Priyanka is an ardent reader and writer and loves languages, poetry and a good story in any form. She had her first short story published in a literary journal in 2020. Her other interests include researching the partition and studying Buddhist philosophy.
