Rohan graduated with a degree in History from St Stephen’s College, New Delhi, where he developed a keen interest in patterns of historical change, societal transitions, and the socio-cultural narratives that shape contemporary identities. He aims to explore these themes further through the interdisciplinary lenses of Economics, Politics, and Sociology.
In college, Rohan actively pursued scriptwriting, play direction, and acting. He also contributed to a student-led blog by interviewing and documenting the experiences of students, professors, and non-teaching staff. An avid aviation enthusiast, he enjoys plane spotting in his free time.
Through the YIF, Rohan seeks to gain a nuanced, solution-oriented understanding of the challenges surrounding his research interests and contextualize his knowledge to adopt a socially impactful approach.
