Serene George holds a BA and an MA in Humanities, with a major in English, from the Manipal Centre for Humanities (MAHE), Manipal. She has worked as a teacher at GM Global School and Bhuvana Jyothi Residential School. A recipient of multiple awards for academic excellence, debate, sports, and literary pursuits, she has also participated in the prestigious MITACS Globalink Research Internship program in Canada.
Serene’s passions lie in creative writing, theatre, and literary exploration. Her research interests have encompassed memory studies and archival work, highlighting her commitment to examining the diverse dimensions of the humanities.
Through the YIF, Serene aims to engage in interdisciplinary learning and research, gain fresh perspectives from a diverse cohort, and contribute to innovative solutions for real-world challenges.
