Shalini brings a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to student success to this important role, and is particularly passionate about student well-being. Her leadership will be invaluable as we continue to develop and enhance our student support services, fostering a vibrant and supportive campus environment where all students can thrive.
Shalini’s last stint was with Vidya Devi Jindal School, Hisar as a Principal from 2015 to 2023. In this role, she was responsible for the school administration, coordination with academic and extracurricular activities, and pastoral care. She spearheaded various extracurricular programs and initiatives, with a focus on internationalism, democracy, environmentalism, adventure, leadership, and service. She was earlier associated with Scindia School, Gwalior as the first woman Vice Principal of an all-boys boarding school. She has also been associated with Assam Valley School (Tezpur), Mayo College Girls’ School (Ajmer), and Sir Padampat Singhania Education Centre (Kanpur) in the past.
Shalini comes with a strong academic background, having completed two Master’s programs in Education, Curriculum Development, and Physics. In her personal time, she loves to cook and listen to podcasts related to health, finance, and spirituality. She is also interested in philosophy and gardening.
