Shipra is an astute and highly experienced senior Public Relations executive, with more than two decades of experience in developing and implementing Policy solutions. She has a proven track record of success in leading cross-functional teams and building coalitions involving decision makers.
Government relations, as a process, has been an integral part of her effort towards effective alignment of public policies with business objectives.
Based out of Delhi, she has worked closely with Industry associations and think tanks and has been a part of several deliberations on approach papers on policy.
Shipra has worked in several organisations over her extensive career. She was the head of the Africa Division of CII, where she created strategic linkages for businesses from India with African countries. She has travelled to 42 African countries and holds vast knowledge on the subject.
At Kirloskar Brothers Limited, she oversaw Corporate Global Marketing and Communications, an assignment that required her to ensure smooth communications across geographies within the organisation as well as with the local government.
With Bharat Forge, Shipra worked closely on the defence sector, helping the team navigate the Ministry of Defence, Government of India.
Before joining Ashoka, Shipra has been working with a boutique Policy firm.
She holds a post Graduate diploma in business management, from the University of Jammu and a master’s degree, in International Relations, from the University of Delhi. She graduated from Lady Shree Ram College, with an Honours Degree in Political Science.
