Soumya Madabhushi

Soumya Madabhushi is a psychologist (licensed in PA, USA) with over 15 years of experience providing different modalities of psychotherapy, mental health consulting, and trainings. She is driven by her passion to apply psychology toward healing individuals as well as communities. Toward this end she has founded the organization Amaani Wellness Enterprise with the mission to help individuals, families, communities, and organizations, heal, grow, and thrive.

Soumya obtained a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Pittsburg State University, then a PhD in Counseling Psychology from University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She also completed a two-year intensive Psychodynamic Psychotherapy program through the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia. She worked at CAPS at University of Pennsylvania for 8 years as a staff psychologist and outreach training coordinator. She lived over 18 years in the US, before recently moving back to Hyderabad, India, her hometown, where she currently resides.

Outside of work she loves to work out and sing.
