My name is Sukantha Dey. I completed my B.Sc. (Hons) in Chemistry at the University of Calcutta and then earned my Postgraduate degree in Chemistry from Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Centenary College in Rahara. After that, I worked as a Project Assistant in the SERB-SRG project in the Department of Chemistry at the University of North Bengal for about two years. During that time, I focused on peptide-based soft biomaterials, self-assembling behavior, and supramolecular-to-system chemistry applications.

Subsequently, I joined Ashoka University as a PhD Scholar under the supervision of Dr. Santu Bera. My current research interest involves developing an artificial biomimetic system that self-assembles into a novel architecture, mimicking various functions and applications, such as energy harvesting, selective encapsulation, catalysis, molecular recognition, and more.
