Supriya holds an undergraduate degree in History from Hansraj College. Her interests lie in merging the world of social science with scientific inquiry and experimentation. In her younger days, she explored the art form of theatre in a novel way by dissolving the boundaries between the actors and the spectators and now she continues to use this methodology and explores themes of gender and climate in her socio-anthropological research. When she is not reading she joins her friends [human and feline] and other like-minded people in Baroda to reclaim the public spaces in her city using theatre, music and painting. What she truly seeks out of the YIF programme are good conversations – whether it be in the classroom, library or a badminton court – and amazing professors. She wishes to leave the campus with a sense of direction and purpose along with some lifelong connections.
