Tabish Haider Gazi

Tabish is an entrepreneur immersed in the world of colors, words, culture and philosophy. Born and brought up in the serene lap of Kashmir, he developed a passion for painting in his early years. With a sketchbook dangling from his shoulder, a motorbike at his disposal, he began to look more keenly at people and time in his quest for self-discovery and peace. In 2018, Tabish founded a virtual marketplace Kashaway, a place where local sellers could sell their products online. The idea behind this initiative was to boost the local economy and thereby “increase the per-capita-hope in a conflict-ridden state.” Meanwhile, he started commentating on Kashmiri life through editorial cartoons and newspaper columns of the region. He finds himself engrossed in exploring ‘Self’ and ‘Identity’.
