Tashi Sangdup, an adventure and mountaineering enthusiast from Leh, Ladakh, spent a decade playing ice hockey. With a degree in Chemical Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, he’s keen on exploration. Through the YIF, he aims to dedicate a year solely to learning and satisfying his curiosity, a pursuit he felt was lacking during college. With a deep concern for the environment and climate change, Tashi aspires to merge his passion for adventure with his commitment to sustainability. Through YIF, he wants to discover himself, hone his communication and writing skills, and embrace learning for its own sake. Engaging with a diverse cohort, he aims to listen to their stories and perspectives. Through the YIF, Tashi is eager to make mistakes, learn, and grow.
