Tiapong Tzudir is a content creator dedicated to documenting the intricate lives and traditions of various tribal communities. Over the past six years, he has worked extensively in Nagaland as a social worker, collaborating with organisations and schools focused on community development and education.
A passionate advocate for his community, Tzudir has served as a student leader in Delhi and Mumbai for five years, navigating and challenging urban socio-political landscapes. His project, Local Heart, Global Soul, highlights the diverse and rich tapestry of Northeast India’s communities, aiming to amplify their stories on a larger platform. His extensive travels across Northeast India have further deepened his understanding of the region’s diverse cultures.
Tzudir’s academic pursuits centre around tribal identity politics and the politics of food, exploring the intersection of power dynamics and culinary traditions.
A secretariat member of the North East India International Model United Nations, he joined the YIF to broaden his understanding through its multidisciplinary curriculum and gain new perspectives from a diverse cohort.
