Vidya Rajagopalan

Vidya found her passion for literature and poetry when her father bought her first book, written by Enid Blyton. She is an ardent follower of poets such as Sarah Kay, Andrea Gibson and Rudy Francisco. She deeply appreciates languages and has started learning French and Spanish. She hopes to become a translator and believes that the YIF programme will widen her knowledge in various disciplines and facilitate her aspirations of becoming a translator. She co-founded a poetry collective and strongly advocates mental health rights. 

The major driving forces behind joining the programme are the critical writing and the ELM components because she believes it will help improve her decision-making and problem-solving skills.
