PhD, University of RennesDr. Vivek Srivastava earned his PhD from the University of Rennes, France, supported by fellowships from the Indo-French Centre. His doctoral research focused on hybrid organocatalysis, while his postdoctoral work, funded by TWAS, explored high-pressure carbon sequestration. Before joining Ashoka University, he held various academic leadership and administrative roles, extending his contributions beyond research into key operational domains.
At Ashoka University, the Director of Academic Affairs collaborates closely with
administrative departments, including IT, the Office of Learning Support, the
Registrar’s Office, Global Education, and Admissions. This role requires a collaborative working style, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage productively with faculty, top leadership, and other stakeholders. As the primary representative of the office, the Director is instrumental in fostering coordination and ensuring seamless Academic operations across the University.
