Zainab holds a master’s degree in English Literature from the University of Delhi and a BA (Honours) in Literature from Miranda House, Delhi. She has worked with non-profits such as Teach for India, Ankur Foundation, and Pratham Foundation, fostering her passion for educational equity and creating resources for marginalized learners facing resource constraints. Her career spans roles in translation, teaching, research, and the social development sector.
Outside of work, Zainab enjoys reading realist fiction, baking, travelling, and learning new languages. She looks forward to the YIF’s interdisciplinary curriculum, which encourages lateral thinking and the freedom to explore diverse subjects. Zainab aims to leverage the YIF experience to innovate in the education sector and contribute to transformative learning programmes.
