Summer internship in Modern Biology and Bioinformatics
This is a 6 day hands-on training program in biological sciences with a focus on cell, molecular and computational biology. Lectures will be conducted in the morning introducing the working principles and concepts of experiments. Afternoons will be devoted to experiments and demonstrations.

Eligibility
Applicants must have completed at least 2 years of undergraduate training in any branch of science, medicine, agriculture and biotechnology. Students with MSc degrees are not eligible.Â
Application process
There are no application fees. The students will need to fill in an online application form on the Ashoka Biology department website.
Admission criteria and process
Students will be selected based on their overall academic accomplishments. Major emphasis will be placed on their scores/grades in college examinations and a personal statement highlighting their motivation for pursuing higher studies/research in biological sciences. Selected candidates will be informed by email. If a selected candidate declines the offer to undertake the training, the next wait-listed candidate will be offered to join the program.
Residence and Meals
The students will be provided food and accommodation in IIT-Delhi Sonipat campus for a week. Transportation to and from Jahangirpuri metro station will be provided.
Funding
Funding for accommodation/meals for selected candidates and reagents for experiments will be provided by Ashoka University. Selected students who will join the program on campus will need to pay a mandatory registration fee of Rs. 1500.
