Undergraduate Programme
Since the beginning of the Undergraduate Programme in 2014, Ashoka University’s generous Financial Aid policy has helped support approximately 45% of our students who have received some form of financial grants.
Of these students, 60% have received partial tuition waivers while 40% have received a minimum of 100% Tuition waiver or more (Hostel/Meals)

One-time Payments
- Admissions Fee (refundable) of INR 50,000 at the time of Offer Confirmation Fee payment
- Security Deposit (refundable) of INR 75,000 (including Security Deposit of INR 50,000 and Meal Cost Deposit of INR 25,000) at the time of Offer Confirmation Fee payment. The Security Deposit will be refunded at the time of graduation from Ashoka University or at the time of withdrawal of admission from the programme
- Acceptance Fee (non-refundable) of INR 10,000 at the time of Offer Confirmation Fee payment
More information about the Fees
- The costs mentioned are calculated in Indian Rupees (INR)
- Meals: A fixed minimum amount of INR 10,000 per semester will be charged toward meals and dining facilities at the end of each semester (the fixed minimum amount for one year is INR 20,000). Any meals consumed beyond this fixed minimum cost will be charged as per actual consumption (the total cost for all meals per day amounts to INR 284) at the end of each semester through the meal coupon system
- The Residence Cost is based on an average stay-duration of nine months a year. Special permissions must be sought if a student seeks to stay on campus during vacation periods
- The Residence Cost component includes the following: Room and utilities such as water, electricity (100% backup and air conditioning), pantry and gymnasium
- Services such as books, printing, photocopies, stationery, etc. will be charged on actuals
- The annual fee is subject to revision in consonance with inflation. In the last three years, our fee has gone up by approximately 5% to 8% annually. However, this percentage is not fixed and is subject to change

College Board India Scholars Program in Partnership with Ashoka University
Students in India who score 1300 or above on the SAT® will be recognized as Top Performers by the College Board at the end of April on an annual basis. Top Performers who demonstrate significant financial need, defined as family income less than INR 8,00,000 per annum, and receive a firm offer of admission from Ashoka University, are eligible to receive a full tuition scholarship for the entire duration of their programme of study at Ashoka University. The family income will be verified by scholarship administration partner, Buddy4Study.
